So much time for sketching
was just brilliant. I drew and coloured on the spot and sometimes
added tickets, receipts and other souvenirs. In Asia people
didn't hesitate to show their curiosity, this was a good way
to try to speak to each other. Several times I got asked to
draw people or I asked them if I could do their portrait. In
India I swapped the drawing of the place we stayed in for a
posh candle-light diner!
